A: Anyone that's ready to trade up to the amazing new Sony WF-LS910N Truly Wireless Earbuds and trade-in an eligible Used Device. Eligible Used Device is WF-L900 Wireless Open Earbuds, WF-1000XM3 or WF-100XM4 Wireless Earbuds.

Q. Why trust this trade-in program?

A: Reconext has more than 20-years of experience evaluating used electronic equipment. We'll ensure your device is recycled responsibly through an R2 registered end of life recycler.

Q. What will it take to get paid?

A: Use the website to get a quote on your used earbuds and register your trade with us. Upon completion, instructions for packaging and mailing the device will be sent to your email address. Print the pre-paid shipping label and mail in your device. Once Reconext verifies the earbuds you're trading in matches your Quote, you will be issued the quoted value (or Verified Value based on the Terms & Conditions) via your PayPal account.

Q. What happens with my device once I mail it in?

A: Reconext will recycle all the earbuds we receive during this program. Devices are recycled responsibly through an R2 registered end of life recycler.

Q. Are you a certified recycler?

A: Yes, Reconext is a certified, audited and registered ISO 14001 and R2 reseller and recycler.

Q. How is the trade-in value determined?

A: Since the used earbuds will be recycled, they have no trade-in value. Sony is offering a value for the device being traded-in as part of the offer for upgrading to the WF-LS910N Truly Wireless Earbuds.

Q. Do the trade-in values ever change?

A: Yes. The trade-in offer may be changed at any time. However, once you have received your Quote we will hold the estimated value set forth in the Quote for 30-days.

Q. Will my trade-in Quote ever change?

A: The quoted value in the Quote is only valid for 30-days. As long as we receive your eligible Used Device within 30 days of your initial Quote, and it is the same model and serial number you reported, your quoted value in the Quote will remain the same. After the 30 day period has expired, the quoted estimate in the Quote is subject to change upon final verification.

Q. What products will you accept?

A: WF-L900 Wireless Open Earbuds, WF-1000XM3 or WF-100XM4 Wireless Earbuds with an eligible serial number qualify.

Q. What if my device isn't listed?

A: If your device is not listed then, unfortunately, it isn't eligible for this program.

Q. What if the serial number of my device is different from what I represented?

A: If the device serial number differs from that which you described, upon our examination of the Used Device, it will not be eligible for this program. Please keep in mind that Used Devices cannot be returned once they are mailed in to Reconext.

Q. Does a damaged product qualify for a trade-in?

A: Yes, device condition or functionality does not impact the offer. However, the case must also be included, and model and serial number must be readable.

Q. How do I receive my promotional discount on a new earbud purchase?

A: From time-to-time Sony may offer special promotional discounts to purchase a new Sony product when completing a trade-in. These promotional discounts are offered in the form of a promotional code that can be redeemed during online check-out at electronics.sony.com

Q. How do I use the promotional code I received?

A: For redemption you can input the promotional code during the online check-out process at electronics.sony.com Look for a “promo code” input box during check-out. The promo code is single use and not redeemable after the purchase.

Q. Can I use the promotional code more than once?

A: No. The promotional code is one-time use and only usable on one new purchase at electronics.sony.com during the promotional period.

Q. Can I use my promotional code at any retailer who sells Xperia?

A: No. The promo code provided may be used at Sony Electronics – electronics.sony.com.
